Los Angeles Angels

In 1961 the franchise was founded in Los Angeles by Gene Autry one of the MLB's first two development teams and the first to instigate in California. An earlier Los Angeles Angels franchise develop its name that played in the Pacific Coast League, in 1966 the team was grounded in Los Angeles until moving to Anaheim. By their move, the permit was called as the California Angels from 1965 to 1996 and the Anaheim Angels from 1997 to 2004. In 2005 Los Angeles was more back to the name, but only because of a hire agreement with Anaheim that requisite the city to also be in the following season.
