In the 1993 the franchise began play as a development team season as the Florida Marlins. At Joe Robbie Stadium the Marlins originally played home games, which they mutual with the National Football League Miami Dolphins. The Miami Marlins moved their team in the era of 2012 at the location named as Loan Depot Park. Baseball Park was their first high-class home and the first to be designed. The agreement of the Team named as Miami Marlins with park holder Miami Dade County uses the stadium in the era of 2012 and the seasonal contract altered to their name to the Miami Marlins.
